A RAPID PASS mobile app is being developed to deliver RAPID PASS cards to passengers' doorsteps. To establish a sustainable e-ticketing system, initiatives have been taken under the Clearing House Project Phase-2 to form a Special Purpose Company (SPC). This aims to manage and expand the Transport Clearing House and enhance the multifunctional use of RAPID PASS cards in the future, including utility bill payments, toll payments, supermarket purchases, student tuition fee payments, and more.

In the future, various public transport services, including different MRT lines, railways, BIWTC, and government/private buses, will be integrated into a seamless e-ticketing platform. As a result, passengers will no longer need to purchase separate tickets for different modes of transportation. Users will be able to pay fares using RAPID PASS, ensuring hassle-free, cashless transactions, which will improve the quality of transport services. Additionally, fare collection through RAPID PASS will generate Origination-Destination (OD) data and Big Data, which can be used for strategic and realistic urban transport planning.

This card will contribute to the implementation of a smart citizen system, a smart economy, and a smart society. RAPID PASS will play a significant role in accelerating sustainable development.
